Monthly Activities
In addition to the monitoring program the Catchment Capers project involves completing a complementary water related activity each month. Schools are not required to complete every monthly activity, however the completion of a minimum of 5 out of the 8 activities would ensure a fair spread of results are displayed on the "View Results" page throughout the year.

There are also a few other monthly activities that you may like to try instead of the ones suggested; information on these can be found in the "Extension Activities" section on the Student Headquarters page.
What is involved?
Each monthly activity will include a brief introduction of the topic, some background information, a results sheet and extra information "For the Teacher."
The "Student Results Sheet" should be complete by students during the activity in the field, or in the classroom. After the activity is complete the teacher is encouraged to briefly discuss the results and come up with an agreed class results to enter onto the "Add Results" section of this website.
Students are also encouraged to use the Activity Results Poster to record class results and write a brief description about the activity each month.
